FUNCTIONS AT Station
The Station was built in the 20th century, though you could be fooled with its Elizabethan era look, sits in the quiet commuter town of Stoneleigh. The pub has a gabled roof and exposed beams which help to create a warming and English aesthetic. The classically British pub atmosphere continues throughout the pub interior, where you can enjoy pints of cask ales beneath vaulted ceilings.
The Station was built in 1935 and was designed to be a more welcoming family friendly space than other more old-fashioned pubs at the time. It was meant to be a modern representation of traditional and homely inns in the town of Stoneleigh. The design was not cheap however the result is a spacious and inviting two storey pub.
The Station has large HD TV screens and comfortable seating perfect for catching the big games live. Come in the summer to enjoy the beautiful outdoor beer garden.
The highlight of the pub is the upstairs function room, with its stunning arched ceiling supported by dark wooden beams. A grand entrance, an open fireplace and a private bar add to the special ambience of this room. It even has its own terrace and a stairwell that leads directly to the beer garden.
The room is adaptable to numerous types of event and our expert team w ill be happy to assist with your requirements. The room can hold up to 80 people seated or 150 for buffet-style dining.Guests can bring their own supplies to decorate the room to fit the event. This beautiful and spacious room make it a popular venue for wedding parties and big birthday and anniversary celebrations. There is also the opportunity to hire live performers to provide music for your event from the raised platform. Should you require something smaller we have more intimate areas downstairs that can be booked for quiet drinks and small dinner events.
