We aim to make our food enjoyable for as many people as possible, so we have a great range of dietary specific dishes.
Our menu descriptions do not list all ingredients. Some dishes may contain alcohol which may not be listed on the menu. Please advise the team of any dietary requirements before ordering. All of our dishes are prepared in kitchens where nuts and gluten are present as well as other allergens; therefore we cannot guarantee that any food item is completely free from traces of allergens, due to the risk of unexpected cross contamination. It’s been difficult year for all of us and we would be delighted to welcome you into our pubs for a long overdue celebration and the opportunity to make some happier memories to end the year.
We know how important it is for you to feel safe and comfortable while you are with us and we take the safety of our guests and our team very seriously. If you’ve visited us in the last couple of months you will have seen all of the PubSafe measures we have in place to look after you while we are still socially distancing and staying alert. Your safety is our priority, while we continue to ensure our pubs feel just as welcoming and cosy as ever.
Deposits are required at the time of booking online this year this year and are £5pp (both children and adults) for bookings for our festive and Boxing Day menus (£10pp for Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve). We are also asking for £5pp for any bookings of 6+ guests from 12th November until the 30th December and no booking is confirmed unless the full deposit has been received. All deposits are of course fully redeemable against your final bill (see ‘refunds & cancellations’ for more information).
We have carefully thought through seating plans (with social distancing) and staggered arrival times so we do ask you keep to your chosen time please. We understand that arrival times aren’t always in your control so please give the pub a call if you’re going to be late, so we can help to manage your booking. Please also be aware of the government guidelines around allowed group sizes and number of households for your area, as we will be fully complying with all guidelines and ask you to make and manage your booking in line with any restrictions in force.
We want to make your meal as enjoyable as possible so please call the pub if you need help or have any concerns.
This year has been like no other and so it will come as no surprise to you that all of our bookings are subject to government guidelines. If government advice changes and we need to make any updates to our guidance and booking policies, we will do so here on our website. So please check back to ensure that you have the most up to date detail - for your and our teams’ safety.
If you need to cancel due to Covid-19 symptoms:
If any of your party (or your whole group) need to cancel or amend your booking due to Covid-19 symptoms, please contact us as soon as possible. We ask that you give us as much notice as you can and we will aim to move your booking where possible to a new date. If this is not possible, we will refund your deposit/full payment.
If we need to cancel due to pub closure:
If we are unable to honour your booking due to the pub being closed then we will give you as much notice as possible and, if we can’t guarantee a new opening date or you are not happy to re-book in the future, we will of course give you a full refund on your deposit and any other payments you have made.
If government rules lead to cancellation:
If your booking can no longer go ahead due to changes in government rules (e.g. party size is larger than allowed for group gatherings), we can either move your booking to a new future date and then review rules again nearer the time, or we can offer a full refund on your deposit and any other payments you have made.
Refunds will be made either to your card or onto a gift card to spend with us when you are able to get together once more. Refunds and gift card loading can only be managed by a member of our team in pub so please contact the pub in the first instance to discuss.
Deposit & pre-ordering deadlines:
Deposit and pre-order dates vary by menu so please refer to the below so we can make your visit as relaxed as possible and so we won’t have to chase you for any final details:
Festive Fayre: Please confirm your menu choices at least 7 days before your booking. If your booking is less than 7 days away, your menu choices will be required within 48 hours of dining.
Xmas Day and Boxing Day: Full payment and confirmation of your menu choices is required by the 17th November 2020. If booking after this date your full payment and menu choices will be required within 48 hours of booking.
New Year’s Eve Menu (after 7pm): Please confirm your menu choices by the 24th November 2020. If booking after this date your menu choices will be required within 48 hours of booking.
