FUNCTIONS AT London Apprentice
The London Apprentice is an attractive Georgian pub, located on the leafy banks of the River Thames in Isleworth. This Grade II listed 18th century inn is a wonderful venue to enjoy good food and cask ales, a welcoming ambience and pleasant riverside views from the terrace.
At the heart of this historic riverside location, with, you’ll find lots of charming original features inside. There are oak beams and tiled floors, and above the open fireplace in the lounge there is a delightful mural panel commemorating a bell ringing competition that took place in 1848. The most interesting feature, however, lies beneath the floorboards. There are the remains of a tunnel that leads to All Saints’ church next door, suggesting that the inn could have been frequented by smugglers, who used the tunnel to hide their contraband in the church’s crypt.
Our pub has two function rooms to cater for parties of 20-70 people, the Riverview Room and The Conservatory. The Riverview Room, with stunning views along the Thames and ceiling reliefs that are over 300 years old, is a grand location for any event. The Conservatory is also a wonderful venue for a function, whether it’s a birthday, graduation or wedding reception. Our friendly, experienced team is on hand to help ensure every aspect of your function is a success and we have a range of delicious menus that can be adapted to suit the tastes of your guests.
