FUNCTIONS AT Tudor Arms
The Tudor Arms is a handsome mock-Tudor pub that occupies a huge corner plot on Bushey Mill Lane in North Watford. Just a few minutes’ walk from Watford North train station, the pub is a hit with local commuters, who pour through its big, grand wooden doors to experience its warm, cosy atmosphere.
The huge space inside the Tudor Arms is made up of different sections, each with their own ambience. There’s a homely vibe to the main part of the pub, thanks to a blue wood-panelled bar and mix of comfy soft chairs and leather sofas – all newly added during a recent refurbishment. A dartboard and screens showing the big events on BT and Sky Sports can be found in the casual sports area at the front of the building. There’s also a large dining room for more formal meals and a big beer garden out the back.
The upstairs function room at the Tudor Arms is charming with its period features, an atmospheric setting for a range of private events. There’s a private bar & toilets that are shut off from the main part of the pub, ensuring your guests have the utmost privacy for the duration of your event. Business meetings, training days and sports events are catered for with a big drop-down projector screen, while guests looking for an evening event can put the small wooden dance floor to good use. With a capacity for 80 people seated or standing, the room is a charming space whatever function you are hosting.
The Tudor Arms is situated in a perfect location at the heart of North Watford, an affluent commuter-friendly neighbourhood dominated by red-brick 19th-century terraced houses and mock-Tudor architecture. A few miles out from Watford’s huge town-centre shopping mall and high street and a five-minute drive to Watford Junction station, which runs regular trains to London Euston, the journey taking just 20 minutes. We’re also in close distance of major roads such as the M25, the A1 and A41.
