FUNCTIONS AT Rose & Crown
Londoners have enjoyed a drink on this site for over 400 years. The venue used to be called the Oliver Cromwell, as it hosted the politician’s bodyguards in the 1640s. The building continued to be linked to politics, as the Duke of Wellington lived in nearby Apsley House. Today, visiting politicians from around the world staying in Mayfair’s hotels will sometimes stop by the Rose & Crown to experience a traditional British pub.
Guests visiting the pub range from party goers waiting for a gig at the Hard Rock Café to celebrities experiencing the high life of Mayfair. Several local offices nearby make the Rose & Crown a popular haunt for after-work drinks. We have two large screens showing a wide variety of sports, which gives the pub a particularly lively atmosphere on the day of big matches.
The Rose & Crown offers a charming venue to host your event. Our upstairs function room has its own private bar serving a range of drinks as well as a large HD television, making the space suitably exclusive. The room can hold up to 35 seated or up to 45 standing. Whether you want to hire out the room for a dinner or drinks we can accommodate the space to your needs
