About Kings Arms
The Kings Arms pub has been welcoming guests since 1769 with a warm and cosy atmosphere and the best in traditional pub food and drink. We're situated on Wormwood Street, which follows the line of the original Wall of London, built around 180AD by the Romans to defend their strategic commercial centre, roughly defining the boundaries of the City of London as it stands today. One of the eight Roman gates to the city was Bishopsgate, which connected the centre of Londinium by road to Spitalfields then on to the city of Cambridge. The King's Arms pub is spread over 2 floors and also has a beer terrace. In the Office Bar we have soft seating and this is a great bar to relax in over a cool glass of wine or a beer. This bar is also available for private parties or functions. The main bar, with disabled access, has plenty of seating and access to our beer terrace. We’re proud to say our menu is packed with Great British pub food classics, including iconic dishes like our hand-battered fish and chips, pie and mash and succulent burgers. Our drinks include a great range of real ales and an extensive wine list. Our cask ales range has some of the best in British beers, including the new 1730, our very own special pale ale.
