Striking 18th century pub with original features and beer garden in the heart of Kensington. Built in 1771, The Goat Tavern sits on a site originally established in 1679, and its rich history is evident in many of the historic features still preserved to this day. Previously called 'Watney House’ the pub was renamed during its 18th century reconstruction. Alongside an extensive wine list, the pub is well-known for its cask ales, and even boasts its very own special pale ale, ‘1730’, perfect for enjoying with one of the many classic British dishes on the menu. Situated overlooking Kensington Palace, The Goat Tavern is the ideal place to visit while enjoying the local sights or grabbing a bite to eat before a show at The Royal Albert Hall.
