Traditional 19th century corner pub with three floors and beer garden in Mayfair. Serving expertly-brewed real ales and classic British pub food within easy reach of Oxford Circus. Both family-friendly and dog-friendly with sports viewing. Originally licensed as the Shepherd & Flock in 1722, the pub changed its name to Duke of York in 1806 and was subsequently rebuilt in 1886. The ornate interior features a cast iron spiral staircase which connects the venue’s three floors and leads down to the cellar games room, where you can watch live sports or even partake in your own competition with our very own shuffle board table. Sitting within a stone’s throw of a host of tourist attractions and easily accessible by tube, the pub is the perfect place to have a relaxed lunch after a day of sight-seeing, or enjoy after-work drinks with friends.
