Chelsea Potter

Traditional 19th century corner pub with beer garden, on the famous King’s Road in Chelsea. Serving cask ales and classic pub food on the trendiest street in London. Both family-friendly and dog-friendly with sports viewing. Built in 1843, the Chelsea Potter was originally called the “Commercial Tavern” until 1958, when it was renamed to commemorate the great ceramics artist William de Morgan, who founded his legendary Chelsea pottery in 1872. With ornate decor to match its heritage, the pub has welcomed many famous names in its time, playing host to both Jimi Hendrix and the Rolling Stones in the swinging sixties. Popular with sightseers and locals alike, the Chelsea Potter boasts a delicious range of classic British dishes alongside an extensive drinks menu. Whether you’re planning a long overdue catch up with friends, or just having a relaxing drink after work, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
