The Albert Pub in Victoria Exterior

52 Victoria Street, Victoria, SW1H 0NP
Call: 02072 225577

The Albert is a Victorian gem, and the pride of this bustling area of Westminster. Brimming with character, this Grade II listed pub is as famous for its attractive façade and traditional interior as it is for the warm welcome and hospitality all our guests enjoy here.

The Albert pub has over 150 years of history, formerly known as The Blue Coat Boy, and prior to that it spent time as a workshop ad cottages. It was in the mid 19th century that The Artillery Brewery purchased the pub for the princely sum of £978 and renamed it The Albert, in tribute to Queen Victoria’s husband.

The pub sits in the heart of Westminster, the pub retains its magnificent Victorian detail from when it was built in 1862. The Albert’s Victorian charm has remained virtually untouched through the years. There are a wealth of original features for our guests to enjoy, including hand-etched frosted glass windows, wrought iron balconies, gas lamps and ornate ceilings.

We are able to cater for all types here at The Albert, from parties and celebrations to meetings and tour groups. Our large Victorian restaurant can accommodate up to 130 guests and we have a delicious menu of food and drink that can be adapted to suit the needs of your guests. Our friendly, experienced team is here to help ensure that every aspect of your function runs smoothly.
