Whilst we have been away our teams have been working hard to make sure that we bring back your pub just as you know it.
As part of our social distancing promise, we currently have fewer tables available. We're very happy to welcome you whether you just pop by or book ahead of visiting, however we recommend booking to guarantee your table.
This charming old posting house, with 21 bedrooms, dates from the 14th century and has, for many years, played host to ramblers, racers and even royals. The Cross Hands is a warm and welcoming hotel, fit for a queen - indeed in 1981, Queen Elizabeth herself sheltered here from a harsh country blizzard. The charming bar and restaurant serve a great range of traditional English food, accompanied with real ales, premium lagers and fine wines. With free Wi-Fi, free parking and meeting facilities for up to 70 people, book your next meeting at the Cross Hands. The Cross Hands is also available for traditional English wedding ceremonies. The Hunters Hall has disabled facilities and bedrooms, please ask at the time of booking. This hotel is dog friendly, apart from the restaurant. Last check in is 10pm.
