Ever since Purity Brewing Co launched in 2005 we have always strived to brew “great beers with a conscience” from our brewery on a working farm in Great Alne, Warwickshire. This philosophy of sustainably brewing the best quality beers using only the finest ingredients has seen us grow from humble beginnings to a 90,000 hl pa capacity brewery and seen us decorated with a host of awards. Most notably we were awarded the 2015 UK Sustainable Manufacturer of the Year and 2018 Brewery of the Year by The Good Pub Guide as well as all our core range of beers winning international awards.

Award winning Pure UBU embodies our love of great beer, with real character - brewed responsibly to leave an even better taste in your mouth. Winner of World’s Best Amber Ale at the 2015 World Beer Awards, Pure UBU is a well-balanced, full flavoured amber ale, named after our faithful canine friend, Tess. Often found lazing around the farm, she affectionately earnt the nickname ‘Useless Bloody Urchin’ which was shortened to UBU and a beer was named in her honour.

Pure UBU is brewed with the perfect combination of Marris Otter, Crystal, Black and Wheat Malts for true depth of flavour. This excellent ale is hopped with Cascade and Pilgrim varieties for bright aromas and balanced bitterness.

Drink fresh and pair with red meats, game or strong cheeses.
